MonkeyGripp Motorcycle Tank Extenders
The Problem //
Standard adhesive tank grips (seen below) only solve half the problem. While they add surface friction, they still force you to exert massive physical energy to squeeze a narrow, flat tank. Under hard braking or when hanging off the bike (as competitive riders do), relying on friction alone inevitably leads to sliding forward, arm pump, and early fatigue because the factory tank shape doesn't physically support your body position.
The Solution //
By replacing a simple flat friction pad with a custom-engineered spacer and grip system, you can fundamentally change how you interface with your machine. Instead of just adding texture, a custom spacer reshapes the tank to meet your body.
Process //
Using advanced 3D scanning technology, we create a highly accurate mesh model based on each motorcycle's specific geometry.
We then use CAD software to engineer contours that seamlessly integrate with the bike's unique styling and ergonomics. This digital data directly drives our prototyping and mold-making process. Urethane expanding foam offered the best comfort and durability for our unique use case once cured.
Because precise scan data forms the core of our design, every MonkeyGripp is guaranteed to deliver a flawless, custom fit for its intended machine.

After extensive materials science research, we partnered with 3M to engineer a custom adhesive perfectly suited to the harsh demands of the racetrack.
This adhesive is our secret sauce—delivering a rock-solid, heat-resistant bond to plastic, bare metal, paint, and vinyl, ensuring absolutely no slip or play during the riders session.
